Privacy
What this site collects, which is very little, and what a partner link does once you click it.
This is a publication, not a service. There is no account to create, no mailing list to join and no form to fill in, so this site holds almost nothing about you.
What the site itself collects
Standard web server logs, kept by the hosting provider: the address you requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and the IP address the request came from. These exist so that a server can be run at all — they are what makes it possible to tell a search engine's crawler from a denial-of-service attempt — and they are not used to build a profile of you or sold to anybody.
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party advertising scripts on its pages.
What a partner link does once you click it
Some links here go to platforms that pay this site a share if you subscribe. They are marked where they sit and listed on the affiliate disclosure. Following one sends you first to an address on this domain of the form /go/ plus the platform's name, which immediately redirects you to the vendor.
At the vendor's end, that redirect usually carries an identifier so the platform knows the visit came from here. From that point you are on the vendor's website and their privacy policy applies, not this one — including whatever cookies they set and however long they keep them. Nothing about you is sent back to this site in the process; what this site eventually sees is a count of subscriptions in a partner dashboard, with no names attached.
What is deliberately absent
There is no newsletter, so no email address of yours is stored anywhere here. There is no comment system, no login, no analytics tool that fingerprints visitors across sites, and no embedded social widgets that would report your visit to somebody else.
Your rights, and how to use them
If you are in the UK, the EU or another jurisdiction with data protection law, you have the right to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Given the above, the honest answer will usually be a line in a server log. Write to [email protected] and it will be dealt with.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the change will be described here rather than silently substituted. This wording dates from 24 September 2026.
